The Robin ASSIST PLATFORM

The Challenge

The Robin Assistant ambiently captures clinical data in the exam room. Still, behind-the-scenes virtual scribes needed a way to quickly review media and multiple clinical data sources and process patient visits to build quality documentation for doctors.

The Process

As VP of Creative and Product Design, I led the team in conducting quantitative and qualitative research with medical scribes through a series of surveys and 1:1 interviews. The work resulted in a user journey map, and initial key flows to consider as we thought through the experience design.

I guided UX designers through wireframe creation to articulate functionality to engineering partners and to determine scope and feasibility. Initial prototype testing was performed with users to validate patterns and UX decisions before bringing them into the design phase.

I led designers through a landscape audit of desktop documentation and media tools. This allowed us to identify best practices for planning the Robin Assist feature set. Easy video viewing and documentation tools with robust templates and suggestions like Grammarly inspired us.

The Solution

The Robin Assist platform combines cutting-edge technology with the deep clinical knowledge and technical expertise required to capture medicine's complexity, ensure the highest quality patient care, and provide physicians with a robust clinical documentation solution. Robin Assist empowers a world-class team of clinical, artificial intelligence, and medical industry experts to make the practice of medicine more human-centered.
